Continue Deal

Continue Deal

Once Save & Continue is clicked at the end of Draft Deal section, Lane will automatically redirect you to the following screen:

Save and Continue Deal

You can choose to:

  1. Save Deal
  2. Send to Customer
  3. Continue Deal

Saving a deal will make it available on the Deals page as a Draft, where dealer can make further edits before processing the deal further.

💡

Sending a deal to customer will let the customer process the deal further by themselves using Drift. To learn more about Drift, see Drift Documentation.

You can also send the deal to customer after filling in this entire section.

If all customer details are added and Submit Deal is clicked at end of this section, based on the Lender and Dealer Admin configurations, a KYC check may be required. This check will run automatically, once the check is completed, the deal will show up on the Deals page with the tag Reviewed.

To continue the deal, click Continue Deal.

After Continue Deal is clicked, Lane will redirect you to the following page:

Customer Details

On this page, dealers need to provide the following details and submit the deal:

  1. Add Co-Applicant
  2. Contact Details
  3. License Details
  4. Employment Details
  5. Personal Finance Details
  6. Disclosures
  7. Cancel/Send to Customer/Submit Deal

Add Co-Applicant

To add a co-applicant to the deal:

  1. Click the click the icon
  2. Select Add Co-Applicant

Customer Details

This will open the Enter Co-Applicant's Details popup. In the popup, you need to provide the co-applicant's:

  • Email Address
  • First and Last Name
  • Preferred Communication Method

Customer Details

After providing all the details, click Add Co-Applicant.

Adding a co-applicant will introduce a new tab in each details section. You will need to provide all the same information in each detail section for the co-applicant as well.

Contact Details

Dealers need to enter the following Contact Details of the customer:

  • First Name and Last Name (Prefix, Middle Name, and Suffix are optional)
  • SSN
  • Mobile (Home Phone is optional)
  • Email Address (pre=populated)

Primary Address

💡

Lane will not allow you to save the Contact Details until all mandatory fields are populated.

Dealers also need to provide the following details for Primary Address:

  • Address
  • City, State, and Zip Code (County is optional)
  • Move-In Date

The last two aspects in Contact Details section are the Billing Address and Garaging Address, dealers can specify these addresses to be the same as the Primary Address or entry a different address manually:

Contact Details

After all details are added, click Save Contact Details.

License Details

For contact details of the customer, dealers need to upload the front and back of the customer driving license.

💡

Based on configurations by the Lender and/or Dealer Admin, the license may be verified by a third-party integration and license details populated automatically.

Dealer may also need to enter the license details manually, license details include:

  • First and Last Name
  • License Number
  • License Issue State
  • Issue Date
  • Expiration Date
  • Date of Birth

License Details

Employment Details

In Employment Details, users are asked to confirm if they are:

  • Employed
  • Self Employed
  • Retired
  • Not Employed

The details required differ for each of the above.

Employment Details

After all employment details are added, click Save Employment Details.

Personal Finance Details

In Personal Financing Details, users are asked to provide:

  • Residence Type:
    • Enter Monthly Payments for Mortgage or Renting
    • Specify Personal Ownership or With Relatives
  • Bankruptcy Filed? Yes or No. (if any)

Personal Finance Details

After all personal finance details are added, click Save Personal Finance Details.

Disclosures

In Disclosures, users are asked to provide the following information:

  • Asset Condition
  • Program Options
  • Tax Exemption Status
  • Purchase Option Fees
  • Current Mileage (Odometer)
  • Odometer Reading Status
  • Deal Negotiation Language

Personal Finance Details

Cancel/Send to Customer/Submit Deal

Once all details are added, and you are ready to submit the deal, click Submit Deal.

You can also send this deal to customer by clicking the three dot icon on top right of the page and select Send to Customer.

Cancel/Send to Customer/Submit Deal
