User Management
User Management is designed to facilitate the administration of user accounts and access permissions.
This feature enables administrators to add, edit and remove users, as well as assign specific roles and privileges to ensure appropriate access levels.
There are 4 categories of Lane users, each user has their own permissions and feature availability based on their user type. Following is a breakdown of what feature are available to which users:
- Dealer Admin: Dashboards, Deals, User Management, and Configurations.
- Sales Manager: Dashboards, Deals, Deal Desk, User Management, and Configurations
- Dealer Agent: Deals and User Management.
- Sales Support: Inside Deals, Schedule Pickup/Delivery, Appointment, Completed, and Canceled/Declined/Withdrawn.
The following is User Management Add New Record view.
To add a new user:
- Go to User Management
- Click + Add New User
In the + Add New User popup:
- Enter the Email Address of the new user
- Select the Role you want to delegate to the user
- Select the Dealership(s) which the user can access
- Click Save User
After Save User is clicked, an invitation is sent to the user on the provided email address.
